When Carlos emailed me about his proposal, we had gone through about 2-3 ideas before scrapping most of it and picking a new location that better suited his plan. Mariachis, COVID-safe, romantic and most of all, a total surprise. Mia had no idea the band was playing exclusively for Carlos’s proposal and clapped & cheered unknowingly.
Carlos & Mia have the cutest love story and I’m so happy they chose me to be their Austin proposal photographer.
From Carlos: “We’ve been through a lot since we first met 3 years ago. I am an immigrant from Mexico and she’s an El Paso Texan. What really made us bond is going to salsa classes with a group of friends. Eventually no friends would go anymore and the salsa nights became dates. I first kissed her at the end of her late birthday party after 3 hours of talking and me not being brave enough to do it. We’ve established that as our official start of our relationship and have been the best life partners ever since. I am sure she’s for me, and I for she.”

Note: If you’re like “yeah let’s do this thing” and you want to hire me for your proposal…I answer tons of questions about how to propose, what to expect, and more about what’s included with my services on my Austin Proposal Photographer page.
