Summer feels as though it’s winding down, and even though it’s still 90 degrees outside here in Austin, I’m already thinking about fall engagement session inspiration. If you will it into existence it will happen, right?
I’m dreaming about sessions where cozy sweaters, knit hats, many layers culminating in a date to your favorite downtown beer garden or warm coffee shop. The photographs exude warmth and comfort rather than excuses for a bit of free air conditioning.
When planning your outfits, think about the textures and tones of what you’re wearing. Chambray, textural nubby sweaters, soft wool all look scrumptious when photographed.
Knit sweaters and wool skirts paired with your guy in jeans and boots and a flannel button down look so cozy against the fall colors outside.
Earth tones like burnt orange, cranberry, chestnut browns, mustard yellows and sky blues are complemented by evergreen and fuchsia scarves which contrast against the softness of Austin & the hill country.
So I present to you, a compilation of fall sessions for you to glean some outfit AND location inspo for your next Austin or San Antonio engagement session.
