These two are so sweet and so caring towards each other that made it super easy for me to photograph them. We shot the first part during a beautiful afternoon at the UT campus where Keith went to school, and finished at sunset at the Texas Capitol – a special location for a history buff like Emily. These two were completely and ultimately in love and the beautiful spring weather let everyone have a great session without sweating too much.

I love photographing couples’  engagement sessions because it lets me get to know your story and see what your personalities are before we get to the wedding day. Without the pressure of a timeline on the wedding day photographing your engagement session allows you 1.) to get awesome photos for your save the date or wedding website and 2.) help me get to know you.   I’ll know how you interact with each other and what kind of photos were your favorites. I’ll learn to decipher your ideas and emotions and know if you’re down for a trek to get to amazing golden light or if you’d rather keep it close to your reception location so you can party quicker.

I’m so excited for their wedding this July at Emily’s church and the Bob Bullock Museum!! It’s going to be a gorgeous affair, I’m sure.
