Rachel and Ted are genuine, silly and very laid-back people. The couple both work full-time, non-creative jobs so they entrusted me and their vendor team to make their wedding day a reality.
How They Met
These two had known each other since 6th grade, even ending up going to the same high school and college together before Rachel realized Ted was the one for her. We love a friends-to-lovers story! Finally, after 7 years together, Ted proposed at the Wildflower Center on one of their normal Saturday afternoon activitites.
A Winter Wedding at The Winfield Inn
This winter wedding at The Winfield Inn was the best way to close out the year. December in Texas is so pretty and the weather is so mild – I swear we never need jackets until February!
The Winfield Inn is a historic home Austin wedding venue only 20 minutes outside the city. This makes it perfect for any couple looking to stay close to the city and get the benefits of feeling like you’re miles away. The beautiful house with the huge windows in the main bridal suite is amazing for getting-ready photos. There’s just so much space to spread out on the property and incorporating the greenery that surrounds the place makes a beautiful day.
I ADORED that they were able to involve their goofy Golden Retreiver in the wedding. What a sweet baby.
Between all the cute puppy antics to a verrry dramatic dance floor sing-along to their favorite pop-punk hits this was one of my favorite weddings to close out a year with.
