“When we were hanging out with our friends that one time in San Marcos and your co-worker asked me if there was ever a time I thought I would be single forever. I honestly answered by saying ‘Yes, there was a time when I thought I would be single forever but when he asked this I knew my answer had changed.'” –Steven
Steven and Britt are friends of mine through a UT tailgating group I hang out with during football and baseball season. One fine summer baseball day these two avid Longhorn fans showed up and suddenly there was a big sparkly ring on her left hand. I offered Britt my card and told her to take a look if she was interested. Fast forward to late September and here we are at their amazing “cowboy casual” fall-inspired wedding at the adorable Old Glory Ranch in Wimberley, Texas. Such a cute venue and perfect for all kinds of weddings – not just rustic chic! This was such an intimate and emotional wedding; I felt as if I were part of the family the whole time I was working!

After the traditional special dances (father/daughter mother/son), it was time for Steven and Avery to celebrate by doing a dance as well. Steven spoke on the mic to the guests “Apparently, I married into a family of dancers so Avery and I have a special dance prepared.” These two had rehearsed an awesome call and response broadway style dance to surprise Britt and the audience. It was the cutest thing I have ever seen at a wedding and the love Steven has for Avery is so apparent it hurts!
