Amy wanted to do a hill country bridal session before her whirlwind destination wedding in Jamaica. After a few crazy searches, we landed on Le San Michele in Buda. With it’s iconic blue doors and beautiful light, this made for some inspiring bridal portraits. Amy’s bouquet was hand made with flowers from Whole Foods and Central Market and her silk MARISA dress fit like an absolute glove. The birdcage veil is from David’s Bridal and the big veil you see later is Vera Wang, thrifted from Goodwill!
After we had all our traditional “bridal portraits” done and since Amy’s wedding was in Jamaica- we decided to spend the last few minutes of the session doing some awesome portraits with her soon to be husband, Heath. Jeez are these two super gorgeous, completely natural together or what?
If you’re looking for the best bridal portrait location in Austin, I highly recommend using Le San Michele if they don’t have a wedding scheduled! The grounds were very rustic hill country with a bit of French architecture inspiration in the blue doors. I love photographing in and around the Dallas/Fort Worth and Austin, Texas area so if you’re looking for a bridal portrait photographer, let’s connect and talk about what inspires you.
