This is one from last year!
I love love love photographing these super intimate weddings. There was absolutely no stress because of the simplicity of the wedding. Dan and Danielle rented a private home on Lake Austin for their simple elopement that had 6 attendants including me. I arrived a few minutes before the ceremony, hung out with the bride’s father and photographed some of Danielle’s twin girls’ antics while she put on her dress and shoes upstairs. We laughed and joked about the differences between Texas and Michigan and commented on how beautiful the day had turned out to be. And it was. A perfect Texas fall evening with just enough chill in the air to keep it perfectly seasonal. Danielle’s bouquet reflected the changing season with rich red roses and autumnal browns- even including some beautiful Red Oak leaves to keep it true to their new home in Texas. Thank you to Dan and Danielle for having me be there for your incredibly special day; I love these mini weddings.
