This was my first time shooting at Laguna Gloria and let me just tell you now… I’m IN LOVE. Laguna Gloria is my most favorite venue in all of Austin and I am so grateful to Amber Vickery for having me along to second shoot for her back in May. The best part about seconding is experimenting and being in charge of taking photos of details.
If you’ve never been to Laguna Gloria this house isn’t big, in fact, it’s pretty downright tiny. During the normal hours it’s a contemporary art museum and garden but on weekend evenings it truly transforms itself. Such an easy place to photograph with all the trees, the adorable house and the beautiful lake views. The guests at this beautiful early summer wedding dined al fresco on an incredible menu designed by the bride and groom under gorgeous italian string lights. The best part is that once the party ends, the drive back to your hotel isn’t far!
I’m dying to shoot here again!
