Getting Ready Details
Pecan Springs Ranch is a really great country wedding venue. Hill Country style while still maintaining some class and glamour. Both getting-ready rooms feature a ton of natural light and strategically placed mirrors for all your getting dressed needs. Plenty of space for you, your stuff and all your wedding party to hang out!

As soon as I saw Lauren’s details I felt like someone who had been inside my brain. Disco balls, funky font, colorful and a unique style that isn’t too serious really spoke to this retro lovin’ photographer. Her invitation suite and printed goods were designed by Design to Flourish, a local Austin calligrapher and wedding invitation designer.
First Look
Should you do a First Look? Yes! Absolutely. You’ll never regret spending more time with your partner than less. It can be tricky to schedule in the summer and fall months when the sun sets later but these kind of fun candids where you get to reveal your whole look to your new partner is so special.

Disco Cowboy Wedding Reception details
Don’t forget your seating chart! Even if you’re just assigning tables, it really makes for an easier flow to the day and Lauren’s dad made this one for the wedding! This seating chart is huge and has everyone’s name on an individual sized disco ball. This doubles as a wedding favor and maybe even a Christmas gift too!

Wedding Ceremony Outside

Bride and Groom portraits around Pecan Springs Ranch
I always suggest taking at least 30 minutes for sunset or Golden Hour portraits after your ceremony. This is the best time of day for lighting for those romantic and dreamy portraits you’ve always dreamed about. Pecan Springs Ranch has multiple locations all of which get really good light!

Tiny Pies, an Austin pie bakery dedicated to handheld sweet and savory pies delivered a variety of flavors in the shape of Texas, perfect for Lauren & Chris’s wedding theme. The bride and groom share a pie bite together as an alternative to cutting wedding cake together.
Reception time!
Pecan Springs Ranch has the best space for a dance floor at a wedding. There’s a lot of space for your guests to move around and even if you add in a band, like Lauren and Chris did, it doesn’t feel too cramped. Lauren hired Uptown Drive for their wedding and the show this band put on was unforgettable. I have never experienced a dance floor as popular and full of joy as this one.

Lauren having a bit of a Miley Cyrus “Wrecking Ball” moment here on her disco ball pinata. Instead of a traditional sparkler exit, Lauren wanted to beat the shit out of a verrrry large disco ball pinata filled with goodies for all her guests. What a perfect way to release all that wedding stress!

Such a fun and different way to end a wedding! In the background of the top photo, you can see the wedding planner, Lauren, stresssingggggg (because. pinata stick.) which makes me laugh a little.
Thanks to all the vendors for putting Lauren & Chris’s perfect Disco Cowboy Wedding together.
