Isaac and Amanda hosted a meaningful and colorful summer wedding at the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center. This was the official gathering of friends near and far, since Isaac’s family lives in the UK and were unable to travel to the US during COVID. And what better way to show off Austin’s natural beauty than at the Wildflower Center?
I really enjoyed working with Amanda & Isaac who were easy, breezy, and cooperative people (a photographer’s dream!) Letting me keep them out a little late and trusted me when I asked to take artsy portraits in harsh light.
They wanted to highlight the natural beauty of the Wildflower Center and went with a minimalist, colorful decor using the architecture and the gardens to add visual interest. Amanda is a talented creative and designed all the paper goods herself.
I’m pretty sure I left this wedding with a huge grin on my face, eager and excited to see what I captured from this wedding. This Wildflower Center wedding will be one for the books thanks in part not only to my couple for all the laughs and graciousness, but to their friends were the perfect dance floor attendees, giving 100% energy the whole night last but not least, to both families who made me feel right at home immediately.
