Emily and Keith simply put are history nerds. And when it came time to plan their wedding, they knew to call on that for their theme.
They married at the University Baptist Church on UT Campus where Emily’s grandmother married years and years ago and Keith was baptized. They chose the gorgeous Bob Bullock Texas History Museum to host their reception which was a gorgeous black and gold formal affair. History also played it’s part in bringing these two together without them knowing. Emily’s grandmother knew Keith’s parents growing up and even left a trunk in her will to them which you’ll see later in the images.
Emily wore the gorgeous Georgia dress by Pronovias, Kendra Scott earrings and carried a beautiful smelling white garden rose bouquet by HEB Blooms. Coordination by Eclipse Event Co, Texas Pro DJ, cake by Sweet Treets Bakery.
It was a wonderful way to close out my summer wedding season! I’m taking a small break from blogging while I work on some boring business stuff behind the screen. There might be a few changes to the blog look before fall season gets going so be sure to pop back over soon!
Emily & Keith’s family and friends can order photos from the day here.
Like I mentioned earlier, Emily and Keith are big on family, traditions and history. They chose to have an anniversary dance with the longest married couple offering advice to the newest married couple (the bride and groom) :)
