A classic summer Barr Mansion Bridal Session for my friend Katie.
Katie and I met each other at an info meeting for a professional young women’s group. I was table hopping, not really finding a group of girls to click with, when I landed at hers. With her bone dry, sarcastic sense of humor and strong determination for life, I could tell Katie was going to be way more fun than any of the other girls. We started talking for a bit and when she told me she loved horror movies and had a basset hound named Bert it was like an instant girl crush. I’m thankful for Katie’s friendship and our weekly Whine and Wine dates ever since.
It’s so great working with friends and especially loved photographing on the porch at the beautiful Barr Mansion in the middle of summer. An old Southern tradition, Bridal sessions are the perfect way to play in your dress before the stress of the wedding timeline.
