The idea of a modern, more “urban” styled shoot had been kicking around in my brain for about a year. During the slow winter I worked on a Pinterest board with darker colors, moody clean lines meets Texas kistchy, but still natural and organic. On a humid, grey Friday morning we loaded up the car and headed to Peached Social House for our styled shoot.
Since a few issues came up at the last minute (as they always do) I really tried to stick to my vision board and made decisions that I would be happy with in the long run. I wanted a leather moto jacket over a soft dress with a textural ponytail, dark teal or dark grey dinnerware, modern clean lines and a unique cake. Melody’s Joy delivered a fantastic, unique modern cake that really was special for our shoot. I LOVE the crazy wild florals from Visual Lyrics and the rentals & goodies from Birch & Brass.
