Have you met many 2 year olds who can talk for over an hour straight? Lila can and boy is she a pro chatter. I spent around an hour getting to know her during our Mommy and Me session at home here in Austin not long ago.
Over the winter I decided to work on more personal projects, photographing my friends I thought were the coolest and needed to be in front of my camera.
Caitlin (professional baker / owner of Wyeth Patisserie) and her daughter Lila were first on the list. How could you NOT want to photograph these two beauties? She graciously welcomed me in on a dreary, cold February morning where her and Lila baked muffins together, something so sweet and perfectly, honestly, truly them.
It was really nice to hang out for just a few hours in Caitlin’s home, no fuss, no pressure or stress to pick a perfect location. I think Miss Lila liked having another person with a camera to ham it up.
