Emily + Jack – “Something Blue” Wedding at Barr Mansion, Austin, Texas

Southern hospitality and a traditional “something blue” summertime wedding at the Barr Mansion.

An outdoor ceremony in Austin that felt like a summer dream, classic, refined, and a touch romantic.

This Barr Mansion formal wedding was the peak of the summer heat, but their color palette of pastel blues and cream kept things feeling cool. With their ceremony under the centuries-old pecan tree, they laughed, cried and promised to be together forever and ever.

I love starting the wedding day slowly, with intention. Getting to spend time with you, your family and your details as you soak in the whole excitement of the day. During this time we’ll get candids and planned candids of your mom zipping your dress or your groom and his groomsmen tying ties together.

With effortless florals and a raging party, you’ll want to save some inspo from this post for your floral and details Pinterest board.

Okay now we’re onto the fun part! The reception dance floor are some of my favorite candids to get!

And if you can, you gotta end the party with some kind of grand exit! Some of my favorites are sparklers, streamers and bubbles.
