Laguna Gloria is the sweetest place for a summertime proposal. While the weather is not exactly perfect at times – it is Texas – you almost don’t notice it with how beautiful the location is. Jack’s proposal to Allison was extra special since their first date two years ago was at Flo’s Wine Bar – just up the street!
Jack secured the reservation time on Laguna Gloria’s website months in advance and had it perfectly timed out. I would arrive early to set up the Marry Me letters and a lush, romantic, feminine arrangement of pink ranunculus, peonies and zinnias ordered from Verbena Floral down at the Temple of Love. While I waited, I made friends with the spiders in the bushes, a few strangers who were enjoying watching me sweat setting up and dealt with some perfectionism staring at the candles wondering if they were spaced properly.
