The story of your wedding day
Colorful, emotional, storytelling wedding photography in Austin, Texas
How do I get my images?
After our couples session, you'll receive a few highlights within a week.
Then after 2-3 weeks you'll get them all in an online, storefront gallery from which you'll be able to order pro quality prints from my preferred lab.
Some weddings include your personal copy of the images on a USB drive.
Where the heck are ya these days?
I'm currently based in Austin but I have photographed weddings all over Texas from Marfa to Beaumont. In an excuse to visit my parents more, there are no travel fees to Fort Worth. A minimal cost applies to Dallas, San Antonio-area, and Houston (requires overnight stay). Destination location fees will include the cost of flights, a per diem, and a minimum 2 night hotel stay. Don't let it dissuade you though!
How do I reserve my date with you?
A signed contract and your booking fee (1/3 of your total package) is all it takes! This is all done online- easy peasy. 2 other payments are required at 60 days out and the final is due 2 weeks before with your wedding day questionnaire.
Do you offer videography?
It would be very hard for me to be both photographer and videographer at your wedding day, and I'm really only good at one of those (photos). Thankfully I've met a lot of great videographers in my time and would be happy to send you a referral list of locals.
Can I remove the engagement session?
Sure! You can substitute the engagement session for one hour of wedding day coverage or use it towards a different session like bridals, anniversary or day-after.
But I highly recommend trying to make the engagement shoot work. Think of it like a trial run for how we’ll work together on your wedding day. You’ll know what to expect for the portraits and I’ll get to know you as a couple a little more deeply.
Do you have backup equipment?
During wedding ceremonies, I'll shoot with 2 bodies and keep an additional one in my roller bag for backup. Thankfully, I've only ever had 1 camera go down (it was during the reception, thankfully!) and my second photographer was able to step in while I fetched my extra from my bag.
