Small wedding options in Austin during COVID

Photography options for the more low-key, "itching to be hitched" type shindigs.

Austin, Texas elopement and small wedding pricing & info guide

Planning a wedding is stressful enough without the current state of the world. If COVID has made you reschedule your big bash but you still want to “Do the thing” I’ve got you covered with specially designed prices and packages for elopements, small weddings and anything in between.

But first, let’s go over some terms!

The definition of “a small wedding” is kind of nebulous since there are no hard and fast rules with weddings (especially these days…)

However, I consider a “small wedding” (or intimate wedding, backyard wedding, backyard elopement, or micro wedding) to be less than 50 people (Martha Stewart Weddings agrees) but typically has reception elements of some sort. (First dance(s), toasts, meal service)

An elopement is less than 20 people, often without a reception but doesn’t have to be a secret like a lot of people in the past have defined it as!

With more people, it becomes harder to photograph alone and the quality (and quantity) of images is lesser. If you’re only inviting your immediate family + your core friends then there is a greater opportunity for more meaningful moments to organically occur and and for fun couples’ photos opportunities.

For reference, most “regular weddings” I photograph are between 75-150 people, and large weddings are 200+.

The total number of files delivered will change, depending on the number of variables in your wedding. Number of hours booked, amount of details in your wedding and amount of family formals are just some examples.

Every wedding comes standard with high resolution, hand-edited, full color files and and some in black and white as well. These are your personal copy of the wedding photos - to have and to cherish for the rest of your life. A personal print license is included. You will be able to download your photos for personal use directly from the gallery.

Speaking of the gallery, your photos are hosted in an online storefront which you can share with family & friends personally and online. The gallery is linked to a trusted, professional print lab which is the ONLY place I can guarantee best results when printing your wedding photos.

Anyone you grant access to the gallery can order prints, have them framed right there, and shipped directly to their doorstep.

Imagine the first time you see any of wedding photos and it's a highlight of the most emotional parts of the day set to sentimental, heartfelt music. Like a dream come true, right?

For all my elopement and wedding clients I include an online slideshow preview along to showcase your photos in the best way. It's my way of saying thank you for having me.

If you decide you want to keep your slideshow forever, let me know and I can add this upgrade to your package.
