The last thing I wanted from our big day was a ton of stuffy, posed photos. Our wedding was meant to be a celebration—joyful, vibrant, and colorful.

In no way did I feel like or want to be a typical bride. So when we were looking for a wedding photographer, we wanted to find someone who could visually tell a story, capture our party vibe AND the love, and keep everyone calm on a stressful day.

Caitlin more than delivered. From day one, she worked to understand what mattered to us as a couple, down to the last Jurassic Park-themed detail.
She was extremely responsive to questions, willing to offer suggestions and insights from her experience as a wedding photographer.

She even helped me pick out the perfect venue for bridal photos when I said, “I dunno, what gives off a haunted vibe?” On the day, she managed to have fun with us and roll with the punches while still operating as a complete professional.

Caitlin went out of her way to help make our wedding day stress free by communicating throughout the whole process, giving advice with what to expect and how to just have fun and be yourself!

Coming from a couple who hates being in front of the camera Caitlin does wonders and makes you feel comfortable and confident. She learns your personality and rolls with it to make you laugh or be serious and in all our pictures you can see our personality shine through.

I highly recommend having Caitlin as your photographer, not only will her photos bring your special day to life but she as a person has such a good heart and truly has a passion for what she does!

I didn't even bother researching photographers in the area.

What she was able to capture of us on August 5: WOW!

So much wow.

Long story short, I'm glad I listened to my gut. You should listen to ME and hire Caitlin for any engagement, wedding, and grad shoots in the Austin area. No question. She's fun, professional, patient (I detest posing for things and made too many jokes and funny faces), and ridiculously talented!

2018 wedding austin wedding photographers still available

Caitlin photographed my wedding in San Antonio and I could not have been happier both with the experience of working with her and the photos she took.

On the day of the wedding, Caitlin made the process of taking portraits - not something my husband and I had ever done before - comfortable and fun, and despite our awkwardness and constant laughing got a lot of beautiful shots. During the ceremony and reception, I never even noticed her, she worked her magic so unobtrusively.

The photos themselves from the ceremony and reception were beautiful and exactly the style I wanted.

Caitlin did our engagement shoot and wedding photographs, and there are really no words to explain how incredible she and her work are. Right off the bat, we felt so comfortable with her, and like she really "got" us as a couple.

She got the perfect mix of formal and candid photos, and she truly captured how happy and exciting the day was.

She is a joy to work with, and brought out the best in our wedding. I would hire her again in a heartbeat, and will refer everyone I know to her!!

Caitlin photographed our engagement photos, coming up with a really fun and creative shoot. At the wedding, she caught all sorts of fun and sweet details that really captured the spirit of the day-and made us feel comfortable (great since I'm usually really awkward in front of the camera).

The quality of the prints and BEAUTIFUL album she created was professional and very high, heirloom quality.

We will be hiring Caitlin for any professional photos we have done in the future, no question.

When my fiancé, Seth, and I decided to search for an engagement photographer we noticed a lot of photographers didn’t have an LGBT friendly postings on their websites. We were so happy to find the beautiful work on her website, we immediately felt welcomed and comfortable working with her.

She communicated with us effectively throughout the entire planning process and helped us decide the direction of the shoot.

On the day of the shoot, she gave Seth and I, who are far from models, direction which helped us be more at ease throughout the shoot. The end results came out beautifully and we couldn’t have asked for better photos that we can cherish for a lifetime! Thank you Caitlin!

Do you travel for shoots?

Sure do! I consider myself a Road Trip Queen and LOVE to travel throughout Texas and beyond.

Travel to Marble Falls, Horseshoe Bay, Fredericksburg, Blanco, Llano and the San Antonio area there is a flat $100 fee added.

For weddings further than 80 miles from 78745, I require 2 nights hotel stay (one before and one after the wedding day itself. Be sure to mention if your wedding is a destination one when you inquire!

Are you LGBTQ+ friendly?

Absolutely! I believe love is love and all are welcomed with me. I have customized gender neutral questionnaires and work hard to be inclusive and understanding with each of my same-sex couples.

How do I book you?

Send me an email with your hopes and dreams for your wedding day and I'll reply with more details and questions to guide you. We'll set up a consult meeting if you're in Austin, or a virtual meeting if you're planning from afar. During the consult I'll ask you about types of photos that are important to you, answer any questions and go over the whole booking process!

When will I receive my full gallery?

A full 8 hour wedding gallery is delivered within 6-8 weeks after your wedding. Sneak peeks will be posted on social media the next day and sent to you along with a 5 minute slideshow preview for you to share with your friends and family.

Engagement & proposal session galleries will be available in 2-4 weeks in your private online storefront gallery where you can order prints, books and canvases for your home!

How many hours should I book?

The best part about planning a wedding is you can customize your timeline however you want. The only thing that I require is your coverage be consecutive. I will absolutely work with you (and your planner) to curate your timeline and make sure that the events and people you want captured are considered.

Typical Texas weddings work best with 8-12 hours of consecutive coverage.

Do you have a second photographer?

In order to deliver the best set of images possible, my full-day weddings benefit from having two, so I offer a second photographer for all local full-day weddings. Also, since I am just a one-woman team, my second shooters will vary depending on who is available on your date but they will always be a professional of similar style and skill level.
