I’m spending this lovely Thursday in Austin going through some of my archives and pulling a few weddings I was lucky enough to second shoot but never have the chance to blog thanks to a very busy schedule. So today I present an adorable couple with a bright blue (TARDIS blue?) and white early Spring wedding in the Austin Hill Country. I don’t remember exactly where we were, but it sure was beautiful- a great place to have a simple and sweet afternoon wedding. The bride’s sense of humor was hilarious as you’ll see in a photo below- a normally sweet and adorable tradition turned a little dark that afternoon!
The 5 minute ceremony was sweet and simple- no fluff here- and held in the bride’s grandfather’s backyard which was immense! They had their food catered by the famous Matt’s El Rancho on South Lamar here in Austin. The bride chose homegrown Bluebonnets (which if you’re from Texas, you know is the state flower!) to be in her centerpieces. Both choices were a great nod to the history of Texas.
Isn’t love amazing? Check out this adorable couple and their incredible family.
